After realizing that approaching your mid 20's meant you should think about starting to become an accomplished human at some point very soon, I began to question my checklist of adolescent dreams. One of those dreams was to travel the world. Stay in hostels with rowdy Aussies, find cultures that baffled and inspired me, and experience something I would never trade for a thing. I thought of one of my favorite and most motivating quotes, simple bud direct, "if not now when".
This quote has seemed to drive me towards some of the most memorable moments life has ever shown me, so why should I doubt it now?
So, perhaps in thanks to Rabbi Hillel who's quote inspired me, and my brother who was just as eager to explore as I was, here I am creating this blog for what I have no doubt will be the best experience of my and michael's life! For the next 5 months, starting March 31st 2011, Mike and I will be traveling through Europe, South Africa and Asia ... Countdown is less than 2 weeks!
Don't forget to add Sweden to that list! Have the time of your life and I wish you the best and safe travels - Carina
